I am a General Practitioner who has served Workington for the last 12 years. Originally based at James Street Group Practice, I am now the Practice Lead GP for the five merged practices in Workington that form part of the North Cumbria Primary Care Alliance. I also hold the roles of Workington Primary Care Network Clinical Director and Integrated Care Community Clinical Lead.
My areas of special interest continue to be Cancer and Palliative Care and Care of the Elderly and working alongside the Frail Elderly Assessment Team, Clinicians, the Specialist Palliative Care Team and the Community Team strives to improve the services we offer to all the patients who need our care.
I returned to Cumbria in 2009 with my family after falling in love with the area in the early 2000s. I make time on occasion to enjoy the natural beauty it offers, but takes time off to travel or train for annual challenge walks across the UK.
