My role within NCPC allows me to use my skills and experience from both the NHS and private industry to drive forward a brand new model for Primary Care. I have worked extensively within the NHS for a number of years in General Practice, Primary, Acute and Community Care settings.
In the private sector, I worked in Europe as an Aerospace consultant on multi-partner complex programmes of work for the Ministry of Defence and other military providers.
Prior to joining NCPC I worked to improve NHS services through one of our partner organisations, the Cumbria Learning and Improvement Collaborative, supporting staff in our health and care systems to improve the quality of care and experience for patients. Working with NCPC means we can embed improvement and quality within everything we deliver to our patients.
Being fortunate enough to live in Cumbria means that in my spare time I enjoy the exploring beautiful countryside with my husky, I have also lived in Italy and Spain and have a lifelong love of all things Mediterranean. I have one son who also works within the NHS.
