Are you an enthusiastic, hard-working, motivated individual who likes to work in a busy, fast paced ever changing team environment? Do you have a positive attitude towards self-improvement, learning and development?
Then we have a role for you….
Fellview Healthcare, part of North Cumbria Primary Care Alliance, is undergoing a transformational redesign to develop and sustain primary care services, support new ways of working to increase efficiency and improve patient experience of the services we deliver.
Fellview is a GP practice serving a population of approximately 24,000 across 4 sites in Copeland (Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Frizington and Egremont).
The post holder will work as part of our friendly clinical team which includes GP’s, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, practice nurses, health care assistants, mental health nurses and phlebotomists.
Work here is sometimes challenging and hard but is always rewarding. For those with lots of experience considering a career change, join us and help shape our future service model. For those who are earlier in their clinical career, come and develop your skills in our proactive primary care team.
You will help to provide a high quality working practice while working within defined protocols, approved by our senior nurses and GP’s.
The successful candidates will have a wide range of experience, have varying levels of confidence in autonomous practice and may or may not hold post-grad qualifications. Non-Medical Prescribing is not mandatory for the role but successful candidates should be willing to complete this as part of their continuing professional development. Developing the ability to think quickly on your feet whilst remaining professional and calm at all times will be encouraged and supported.
You will be required to function as an autonomous practitioner (working independently and in conjunction with other health professionals by assessing, diagnosing and initiating treatment, investigations, advice and management of patients with a range of acute conditions using professional decision making processes ensuring safe, patient centred care) and we can support you to develop the competencies and skills to achieve this.
Please get in touch or come and visit and discuss the possibilities with us.
