Unscheduled Care Practitioners – Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic Practitioner, Physicians Associate, Nurse Prescribers, Children’s Nurses

Job Summary

Workington GP Practice has exciting opportunities for a range of Unscheduled Care Practitioners, working within the newly merged, five site practice. We are recruiting to more than one post.

The post holders will work as part of our friendly clinical team which includes salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic, Physician Associate, MSK Practitioner, Staff Nurses, Assistant Practitioner, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants across the town. (Registered Nurse with the NMC or qualified paramedic registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council)

We have a registered patient list size of just over 33,000 and offer a wide portfolio of Primary Care based services that include:

  • Primary Care Centre for urgent on the day appointments and walk in minor injuries
  • Acute home visiting service
  • Frail Elderly Assessment Service
  • Town wide on call service
  • Chronic Disease Hub
  • Medicines Hub
  • Wound & Vascular service
  • Social Prescribers/Health Coaches/Care Coordinators

Salary range:

ANP – £49,505.78 – £56,178.29

Paramedic – £36,199.88 – £42,461.48

Nurse Prescriber – £29,348.31 – £32,478.80
